Further to my last post, I would like to mention once again, It is unfortunate we had to do the unscheduled flush... however it is important to work with council like this when required. Tides should have us back on track on Monday If I cannot achieve this before hand.

Hi All,
It is unfortunate but mother nature has stuck to her plans and to her low, high tide cycle. I was hoping that the give and take of the tides that can be up to 10cm from the predicted levels at times might work in our favour. Sorry to say it has not.
It is very unlikely that there will be enough water in the basin for us to be able to launch our boat tomorrow (saturday). From my experience thus far Sunday is unlikely as well, how ever I will be opening the gates and trying to get any water in that I can.
I will keep you posted
Kind Regards
Paul

Hi All memebers.
Due to a request by the council and the walkway/cycle-way guys for an urgent unscheduled flush over the last few days ... this has meant a lack of water in the basin. On closing the gates this afternoon we are on a low... high tide cycle at present. This means we not enough water came back into the basin to be able to launch the our boat.
I will be up at 1,2 and 3am over the next few days to try and get as much water back in as possible, however this may be a big ask due to low, high tides.
While this is unfortunate for us , it is important that the club works with council on matter like this when required.
Will keep you posted on water levels ...
Kind Regards
Paul
