Thank you very much to Auckland Council (and their contractors) for sorting out the very serious mechanical issues that occurred with the Basins sluice gates. The Basin is now being flushed (over multiple days) and we look to having (and locking in) water in later this week! ... See MoreSee Less

Hi All AWSC Members,
I am pleased to inform you that the Sluice gates are operational again. This has allowed me to do an over night flush tonight and I will be locking the water back in at High Tide tomorrow morning Saturday 8th August at 11:30 am.
If the high tide lets us get enough water back into the basin
there will be a 2 hour skiing window between 11:30 am and 1:30 pm in nice clean salt water. Tomo is coaching the Junior squad from 1:30 onward.
I will confirm at high tide tomorrow that we have sufficient water levels in the basin to launch the boat.
Kind Regards
Paul Murray
